- Description
-
Beach elevations were surveyed quarterly between January 2008 and July 2018 on cross-shore transects from the back beach to about 8 m water depth. Subaerial and submarine portions of the transects were surveyed with Global Positioning System (GPS) equipped all-terrain vehicle (ATV), and dolly or Jet Ski respectively. The subaerial portions were classified as sand, cobble, or bedrock using manual identification and a recording switch during the ATV surveys. Ground type was not identified in dolly or Jet Ski surveys.
- Scope And Content
-
Each folder contains 1. matlab file, and 2. processed data (.mat file). When running the matlab file on Matlab, it produces figure/s showing cobble distributions and their correlations with wave conditions, and back beach cobble morphology.
