Founded in 2001, We Chinese is a monthly Chinese-language magazine published in San Diego, featuring news concerning Chinese Americans in Southern California and the San Diego area. The magazine highlights prominent figures of the community and provides information about local commerce and services. The magazine has been documenting the vibrant life of the Chinese-American community in San Diego and serving as a vital information hub for the community. The magazine began publishing digitally in 2013. Sally WongAvery generously donated the funding needed to digitize the 144 print issues which circulated between 2001 and 2012.
