Description

Paul Pickowicz, Distinguished Professor of History and Chinese Studies at UC San Diego, traveled to China as a member of Committee of Concerned Asian Scholars (CCAS) Friendship Delegation from June 23 to July 24, 1971. He was working towards his PhD at University of Wisconsin, Madison during that time. Included in this collection are images that captured many aspects of China during his trip in 1971.
