Description

The Health Sciences Communications Public Relations Materials records include news releases, features, and photographs produced by the office. The news releases and features provide information about UC San Diego School of Medicine and UC San Diego Medical Center administrators and faculty, events, discoveries, and community health information. Photographs include images chronicling the physical development of the Medical Center; events relating to the UC San Diego Medical Center, including the transfer ceremony from the San Diego County Hospital; and group photographs of Medical Center doctors and patients. Images were digitized from originals held by the UC San Diego Library.
