Description

Analyzing the relationships between different ecosystems, as well as humans and the habitats surrounding us, helps us to begin to comprehend the impact that anthropogenic activities have on the environment. By understanding the dynamics that connect diverse ecosystems with each other, and how these in turn relate and react to human activities, changes to their natural balance are revealed to us and, hopefully, the solutions we must implement to prevent catastrophic consequences.

Scope And Content

The dataMares Collection contains a selection of datasets associated with scientific research, some of which is featured at http://datamares.org. The dataMares datasets are organized into subcollections: Fisheries, Ecological Monitoring, and Ecosystem Dynamics. Each dataset has a landing page, and in the Related Resource section you will find links to the dataMares pages that feature the dataset. Links to the dataset landing pages are also linked directly from the dataMares pages that reference the dataset.
